I made some screenshots and a test-project, which is appended. It looks "dotted", I can't describe it more appropriately. There are transparent section, where none should be, even if the Cutout-Animation has not started yet. I also use it to create a "freezing" effect, by blending two textures.īut on Mac OS X, the texture looks weird. By animating the cutout value, I can simulate the effect of an exploding or dissolving Object. I want to have the standard Unity Transparent/Cutout shader to animate the shift between two textures. I have a very strange problem with a certain type of shaders in Unity.
